Boann Distillery is an independent, family-run distillery in the heart of the Boyne Valley, a landscape steeped in myth, legend, and whiskey-making tradition.
Founded by Patrick and Marie Cooney and their family, Boann is dedicated to reviving the true character of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
Boann Distillery honours Ireland’s whiskey heritage by reintroducing historic mash bills with oats, wheat, and rye – grains mostly unused for 50 years. The state-of-the-art distillery is custom-built to process these grains, and by using water from a Boyne Valley well and grains from local farmers, Boann crafts whiskeys that are elegant, vibrant, and full of complexity – ensuring a bold and exciting future for Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
